Brennan “Boone” Schreibman represents small- and mid-sized local businesses and municipalities in civil litigation, focusing on construction, commercial, tax revenue apportionment, employment, and insurance coverage disputes. He also provides compliance and risk-management advice to help clients avoid litigation where possible, particularly in employment and personnel matters, real estate transactions, and issues involving Title IX, board governance, the Public Records Act, the Open Public Meetings Act, interlocal cooperation, public works, and government procurement/contracting. In addition, Boone maintains a pro bono practice representing individuals and non-profits in debt relief and civil rights matters.

Before joining RNWLG, Boone practiced at a regional mid-sized firm and at the Attorney General’s Office, which he joined through the AGO Honors Program, served in the Labor & Industries Division, and later as General Counsel of Eastern Washington University. He also clerked for Judge Robert E. Lawrence-Berrey of the Washington State Court of Appeals and Judge Robert H. Whaley of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

Boone received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where he was a Public Interest Scholar and a member of the Villanova Law Review, Moot Court Board, and Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic. Boone received his B.A. from Gonzaga University, where he represented the Athletics Department as Spike the Bulldog. He continues to regularly offer compliments and criticisms, for which no one asked, in relation to the levels of effort that he perceives current Spikes dedicate to mascotting. He received his A.A. from Spokane Falls Community College.

Outside of his legal practice, Boone currently serves on the board of directors for the Northwest Justice Project, Washington’s largest publicly-funded legal aid program that provides civil legal assistance and representation to thousands of low-income Washington residents each year. He is a Commissioner on the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission, for which he also serves as Vice Chair. He has previously volunteered with Spokane’s CASA program advocating for children in dependency proceedings, served on the board of a Spokane-area non-profit focused on environmental education, and volunteered to develop a high school youth court program in Norristown, PA in collaboration with a Philadelphia-based non-profit.

In his free time, Boone enjoys playing bass guitar in a local punk rock band, running, watching the Zags, attempting to learn to golf, and trying to keep up with a French Bulldog puppy named Piteckey.
